T and D Corporation
RTR-5 Series Wireless Data Logger

The Revolutionary Wireless RTR-5 series is a system wherein the data measured and recorded by the data logger units can be transmitted to the RTR-57C Data Collector via short wave radio waves.

The transmission range is up to 100 meters if direct and unobstructed. The RTR-5 series gives you the power to check data, start and stop recording and collect data on-site without ever having to gather the units.

Application Examples
  • Managing temperature in freezer and refrigerated transportation and storage

  • Recording temperature of rotors and moving parts in production lines

  • Outdoors and cold area agriculture, civil engineering and concrete production

  • Recording temperature and humidity in brewing and agriculture cultivation

  • For instrumentation such as flow meters, watt meters or analyzers

  • Recording events (ON/OFF) for doors as well as air conditioning units.

HI 3300 Hardy Tension Controller
Precision Tension Control for Web or Strand Applications

The Hardy Instruments HI 3300 Tension Controller provides precision control of winding, unwinding, and intermediate zones in both web and strand processing applications.

The Hardy Tension Controller incorporates an automatic closed loop process to provide precision control over the tension in the web or strand. The controller incorporates either a single or dual sensor input to allow for tension measurements on either web rolls, or strand pulleys.

The controller utilizes a PID algorithm to control tension in unwind, rewind or intermediate zones. The standard output from the Tension Controller is 0-10V / 4-20 ma, which can be directed to a brake or a drive. Hardy also provides pneumatic systems to convert the analog output to a pneumatic signal for air- brake operation.

Because the actual product tension is measured, this type of precision control eliminates common process problems found in web and strand processes including feathering, breakage, telescoping, wrinkling, and blocking.

The user-friendly keypad and display provide a short learning curve for plant operators, and menu security levels allow better control over process set points.

The Tension Controller also provides Quick Calibration capabilities, which allows the user to calibrate the web or strand process control without the use of test weights, thus saving on time, effort, and cost.

The Electronic Diagnostics within the controller allows the user to troubleshoot issues related to installation, sensor performance, or system noise - all through the keypad or a PC on the same network as the controller.
